The official website of Konserthuset Stockholm is counting down until the start of the live stream of the second of two concerts by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, which will feature the performance of the Symphony in F-sharp Minor, Op. 41, by Dora Pejačević! This remarkable work by the exceptional Croatian composer, in which, as stated in the concert announcement, “traces of Wagner, Brahms and Bruckner” can be found, will be on the program on January 29th and 30th, 2025 at Konserthuset Stockholm. The orchestra will be conducted by the young Czech conductor Jiří Rožeň, who will make his debut with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.
In addition to Dora Pejačević’s Symphony, the concert program also includes Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, in which the solo part will be performed by violinist Inmo Yang.
These performances continue the promotion of Croatian musical heritage on the world stage thanks to the efforts of the Music Information Center, which continuously works to recognize and perform the works of Croatian composers.
A live stream of the concert performed by the Dora Pejačević Symphony will be available on the official website of Konserthuset Stockholm: https://www.konserthuset.se/en/play/ on Thursday, January 30th at 7 p.m.
