At the beginning of November 2024, the young but highly experienced general manager Nina Čalopek successfully implemented her vision for the new organizational structure of the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. Very important to her vision was the Croatian Music Information Center (CMIC), which she positioned as an autonomous entity within the overall structure while strengthening its human resources.
Joining the existing CMIC team, led by Jelena Vuković and Davor Merkaš, are musicologist Anamaria Ledinek as Editorial Advisor and marketing expert Ivor Zidarić as Marketing Advisor. Their arrival brings fresh energy and enthusiasm, both of which are crucial for achieving CMIC’s core mission: promoting Croatian music and preserving its rich musical heritage.
Anamaria Ledinek, a musicologist with extensive experience in education and cultural event organization, will focus on enhancing CMIC’s project execution and expanding their accessibility to young musicians and researchers.
Ivor Zidarić, a producer and cultural manager renowned for his leadership in numerous artistic projects, joins CMIC with the goal of fostering new partnerships and increasing the international visibility of both CMIC and Croatian composers. His passion for innovation in cultural management aligns seamlessly with CMIC’s strategic objectives.
Jelena Vuković, head of the CMIC, highlighted:

Their expertise and experience will be instrumental not only in advancing existing projects but also in developing new initiatives. The Croatian Music Information Centre continues its diverse range of activities, including the publication of sheet music, organization of various events, and the development of digital archives. With these new team members on board, CMIC is poised for even more dynamic and impactful efforts in promoting the value of Croatian music both at home and abroad.
