The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Cottbus State Theater, conducted by Alexander Merzyn, will perform Dora Pejačević’s Overture for Large Orchestra in D Minor, Op. 49, on February 14 and 16 at the State Theatre Cottbus.
The program also includes Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.24 in C minor, K.491, performed by German pianist Matthias Kirschnereit, and the premiere of Symphony No. 1 “Four Colours” by Luxembourg composer Marc Pütz.
With this performance of Dora’s Overture, Alexander Merzyn and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Cottbus State Theater continue their brilliant series of performances of the works of this exceptional Croatian composer.
