The Croatian Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Valentin Egel, will perform a concert titled Three Brandenburg Concertos and a Piccolo Story on November 12 at 8 PM as part of the 24th Miroslav Miletić Music Days. The program includes works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Papandopulo’s Little Concerto for Piccolo and Chamber String Ensemble. Italian flutist Angela Borlacchi, a renowned soloist, will perform the piccolo solo part. The same ensemble will present two Brandenburg Concertos and the Papandopulo piece the following evening, November 13 at 8 PM, at the Novinarski Dom in Zagreb. The sheet music for Papandopulo’s Little Concerto for Piccolo was provided by the Music Information Centre of the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall.
