Aurea Aetas. The Golden Age of Music in Croatia

Aurea Aetas is a collection of several studies of Croatian baroque and renaissance music written by Ennio Stipčević: Renaissance music in Croatia, Baroque music in Croatia, and Presence in the Past: the Earliest Musical Records of Croatian Folk Songs. These studies had previously been published in different times and in different editions. The collection is a sort of a concise compendium with the most important information about significant composers of the renaissance and baroque periods of Croatian music, and about the relations and interactions between folk music and artistic music of the time.
